At CJC, the wellbeing and happiness of our students is paramount. We are delighted to introduce Catherine and Shuen, both completing a Masters in counselling at Monash University, who will be doing their professional placement at our school. They will be offering individual counselling to support the young people with a range of personal, social, and emotional. Counselling will be tailored to each child’s specific needs using techniques that aim to encourage each child to use their own resources to overcome difficulties.
Shuen has a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Psychology) graduate from the National University of Singapore.
Catherine is a Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist with a special interest in childhood anxiety and paediatric medical trauma and a Master of Arts (French Studies) through the University of New England. She also speaks French fluently.

À CJC, nous mettons l’accent sur la santé et le bien-être de nos élèves. Nous avons le plaisir d’accueillir Catherine et Shua qui sont toutes deux étudiantes en consultation psychologique à Monash University et complèteront leur stage professionnel au sein de notre école. Elles offriront des sessions en privé aux élèves, pour les aider à surmonter différents problèmes personnels, sociaux et émotionnels. Le but est d’aider les jeunes à développer leur propres outils et techniques pour faire face aux difficultés.
Shuen est diplômée en Sciences sociales (psychologie) à l’Université Nationale de Singapour.
Catherine est consultante en anesthésie pédiatrique, avec un intérêt particulier pour le traitement de l’anxiété chez les enfants et la traumatologie pédiatrique. Elle possède également un Masters en Arts (études françaises) et parle couramment français.
