Last Tuesday, the students at CJC were treated to a special presentation by Australian bestselling author of children’s books, Tim Harris. He performed a stand-up comedy-like show, aimed at primary school children, which was inspiring, funny and motivating. There were lots of laughter and the performance certainly tickled the curiosity of the young mind’s about his work, but also about the pleasure of reading.
Tim is a former Australian teacher in NSW, he used to love reading books to his students and this prompted him to write his own stories in 2012. He was first published in 2015 and is now pursuing his dream of entertaining children far and wide with his work.
