Berthe Mouchette Competition – 2022 theme is FREEDOM

Every year for over a century, millions of young Victorians have been bringing French poetry to life in the antipodes of France. The Berthe Mouchette Competition is a unique and memorable experience for the candidates, and it reinforces the vitality of French in Australia. At CJC, students from both programs, Victorian and French Binational were reciting their poems this morning. We wish them all the success that they deserve!

Chaque année, depuis plus d’un siècle, des milliers de jeunes du Victoria font vivre la poésie française aux Antipodes de la France. Expérience unique et mémorable pour les candidats, le concours Berthe Mouchette renforce la vitalité du français en Australie. À CJC, les élèves du programme du Victoria et du programme français binational ont récité leur poème ce matin. Nous leurs souhaitons tout le succès qu’ils méritent !
